Double Three Hem Curtain System
The double three hem curtain system has two curtains for each run. Each of these curtains looks like the 1 piece 3 hem curtain system.
The top curtain and bottom curtain each cover about one-half of the clear opening.
The 2 piece 6 hem system operates with 2 drive units operating in the cage.
The top curtain is the first to be opened and the top curtain is the last to be closed. When fully closed the bottom curtain should overlap the wall/footer and the top curtain should overlap the bottom curtain. When fully opened the top curtain will be rolled up to the top pipe mounted to the header. The bottom curtain will be rolled up to the pipe mounted about one-half of the way from the head to the footer.
The 2 piece 6 hem curtain is typically used for larger openings (About 16’). The stacked 3 hem curtains allow for larger openings when needed.
For openings bigger than 16’ please contact us so that we can discuss your project and explain some options that might work for you.
